People magazine has released its annual Sexiest Men Alive list. Take a look at the winners.

This year, Matt Damon took the top spot. The Cambridge native is best known for his role in the "Bourne" series of espionage thrillers.

Patrick Dempsey, otherwise known as "Dr. McDreamy" on ABC's "Grey's Anatomy," came in at number two.

Ryan Reynolds, a 31-year-old actor, was number three on the list. Reynolds has made a name for himself with the "Blade" series and comedies like "Waiting..." and "Van Wilder."

Number four, actor Brad Pitt, is no stranger to the "sexiest men alive" list. He's topped it twice.

Scottish actor James McAvoy joined the Hollywood ranks starring alongside Keira Knightley in "Atonement." He's number five on this year's list.

Award-winning actor Johnny Depp has been making fans swoon for years — most recently as Captain Jack Sparrow in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" series. He's number six.

Number seven, Dave Annable, found his breakout role in 2006 on ABC's "Brothers & Sisters." That role and his other on-screen appearances were enough to score him a spot at number seven.

The Fresh Prince has been off the market for 10 years, but his devotion to wife Jada Pinkett Smith only makes him sexier. Will Smith is number eight.

Spanish actor and number nine Javier Bardem recently earned critical acclaim for his role in "No Country for Old Men," and will also appear in "Love in the Time of Cholera," opening Nov. 16.

At number 10 is former Boston resident Shemar Moore, who got his acting start on "The Young and the Restless" and now plays an FBI Special Agent on CBS's "Criminal Minds."
